Dr. William Orsini

Dr. Orsini is board-certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He received his medical education at the New Jersey College of Medicine, Newark, NJ (now Rutgers Medical School). He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a residency in Dermatology at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Orsini went on to serve as Chairman, division of Dermatology at Monmouth Medical Center for 26 years while developing and growing a successful private practice in Monmouth County. A member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the New Jersey Dermatology Society, he is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades over his distinguished career. Dr. Orsini has also brought his expertise to the public in the form of radio and television interviews, as well as his contributions to Time Magazine and US News and World Report. His dedication to his patients is evident in his everyday interactions with them, and has resulted in a large and loyal following.

Dr. Gilson is a board-certified dermatologist and has been a member of this practice since 1987. She is a graduate of SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, after which she did an internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in New York. She then completed her Dermatology residency at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she also served as chief resident. Known for her warmth, kindness, and upbeat personality, Dr. Gilson enjoys working with all age groups including multiple generations within the same family. She listens carefully to her patients and communicates her findings and recommendations in an easy-to-understand manner. Involvement in the community is also important to Dr. Gilson. She speaks at many seminars on protection from the damaging effects of sun exposure and recognition of early signs of skin cancer. In addition, Dr. Gilson is a skilled dermatologic surgeon and specializes in cosmetic procedures that soften the effects of time. Her competence and compassion have been recognized by her selection as a NJ Monthly’s “Top Doc” year after year.

Dr. Angela Miller

Dr. Miller is a board-certified dermatologist. She holds both BS and MS degrees from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. After an internship in Internal Medicine, her training in Dermatology was at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, as chief resident in her final year. Prior to heading “back east” where her roots are, she practiced Dermatology in Tucson in a multi-specialty group, where she served as department chairperson. Joining Drs. Orsini and Gilson in 1997, she has enjoyed being at the Jersey Shore after a sojourn in the Southwest. She has lectured in New York and New Jersey, as well as in Arizona, and finds educating her patients very rewarding work. Dr. Miller shares the philosophy of her colleagues that every person deserves quality medical care and she is committed to providing that each time she enters an examination room. A member of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as, the New Jersey Dermatology Society, she is constantly striving to maintain excellence in her practice, as is evidenced by her repeated acknowledgement as a “NJ Top Doc”.

Dr. Franco is a board-certified dermatologist. A graduate of the New York University School of Medicine, she did her internship in Internal Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. She went on to Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY for her residency in Dermatology. Dr. Franco has presented research at a variety of dermatologic conferences across the country and is the author of over fifteen peer-reviewed journal articles, as well as, a contributing author to a medical textbook. She has trained with world-renowned experts in Dermatology and treats complex dermatologic conditions with the newest and most advanced therapies. Skilled in cosmetic, as well as, surgical procedures, Dr. Franco brings to the practice a variety of the latest treatment modalities to correct and enhance one’s appearance, including the use of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for hair loss.
A native of the Jersey Shore, she has “come home” to serve the local community after spending thirteen years in Manhattan. Passionate about Dermatology, Dr. Franco is dedicated to providing her patients with personalized and comprehensive care.

Dr. Michael Goldfarb

Dr. Goldfarb is a board-certified surgeon, graduating from New York University and completing a five-year surgical residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. Next, he served as Surgical Director of Wound Ballistics while a Major in the US Army. While in that capacity, he was involved in the development and testing of Kevlar body armor and established the standard for bullet-proof body armor. Following his army stint, he returned to New Jersey to enter private practice and serve as the Chairman and Program Director of the department of surgery at Monmouth Medical Center, as well as, Professor of Surgery at Drexel University. He has participated in the training of over 700 surgeons.
In addition to his commitment to the education and training of young surgeons, Dr. Goldfarb has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and texts and currently edits a column in General Surgery News (New Innovations in Surgery). He was a recent Governor of the American College of Surgeons. A real medical renaissance man, he has invented patented tools for the performance of surgery and introduced the clinical use of the laparoscopic ultrasound and cholecystectomy in New Jersey He introduced sentinel lymph node detection to New Jersey surgeons which is an important tool in cancer treatment. His interests also led to the establishment of one of the first hospital day-stay centers and he served as surgical coordinator of the J.M. Wilentz Breast Center. As a surgeon, Dr. Goldfarb exhibits compassionate interaction with his patients along with meticulous technique, as his many accolades and achievements attest to.
